I have been on some in Mexico, just straight drops of the side, the roads are not even graded. I drove on some winding dirt roads, for work, was always glad, I had 4 wheel drive.

The roads are not as dangerous as the wind on many high roads. I rode motorcycles on some that the wind would suddenly push me to the edges. I saw Harley riders who had their bikes towed back down the mountains.

You should have included the road that crosses the Andes from Chile to Argentina and goes by the ski resort of Portillo. Not to mention some spectacular ones in Norway. I’ve been on the one to Portillo several times and a few in Norway. Simply amazing!

I see many more worst roads than them in the National Geographic in the cliffs of a mountainside and no asphalt ,no I would not dare to drive in those Roads
