The Beatles forever! I have prepared a list of facts about one of the greatest music bands of our time. Bet you didn't know them!
The Beatles is still one of the most popular and respectable music bands, although they appeared on the scene about half a century ago. The musicians who worked together only 8 years recorded 13 music albums and influenced the development of music industry and destinies of the whole generation. But what was their secret? Today, we want to share some interesting facts about the Liverpool four and their artistic way. Enjoy!

This is probably the most significant music album of this band. The its cover has also become very popular. It has quite an interesting story of creation. The picture you see was taken by Iain MacMillan. The photographer had only 10 minutes to make a shot, he worked staying on a ladder. There were only 6 photos taken and one of them became the cover of the album.

The musicians' relatives treated their hobby skeptically. John's aunt used to say that the guitar is a good instrument but it is not for making money. When John became rich and famous he bought a big house for his aunt where the words mentioned above were written on one of the walls.
The first steps to fame and the first failed contract
The name of the group at first changed many times from Beatals, Silver Beats, Silver Beetles to Silver Beatles. Finally in April 1960 they became the Beatles. The authors of this neologism are considered to be Sutcliffe and Lennon. Even now no one can say what the word Beatles means.
The beginning of the Beatles's career is connected with Brian Samuel Epstein. He was the first manager of the band. Mr. Epstein understood that the group had a great potential and started to hold their auditions in different record labels.
On January 1, 1962 the Beatles sing in Decca Records with the intention to become the singers of this label. Decca Records refused to work with the band as they considered them to be out of fashion. Just a year after that the Beatles became super popular.

The truth about Yesterday
When Paul Mccartney recorded the song "Yesterday", professional musicians said that it was a total cacophony and had nothing in common with the rules of music writing. The other members of the band also hesitated to include this song into the album. But when it appeared in the radio it became a super hit.

Ringo Starr spent only 3 years at school because of his bad health. No one believed that this boy could achieve anything great. Nowadays, a lot of people all around the world come to Ringo's school to sit at his desk. They are even ready to pay about 5 pounds for that.

Once, when the royal family attended one of the concerts of the Beatles, a strange situation happened. The audience felt uncomfortable feeling that the royals are in the music hall. The musicians noticed it and John Lennon said that the audience in the cheaper seats can clap their hands and the rest can just rattle their jewelry. This words didn't offend the Queen and she even gave John a ring as a present.
Beatlemania
The Beatles liked joking, sometimes their fans took these jokes too close to heart. For example once Paul McCartney said that he liked chocolate but George stole sweets almost every time. After this claim, the Beatles started to receive tons of sweets, chocolate bars with the words: "This is not for George, this is for Paul".

The relations between the musicians became worse and in 1968 they decided to split the band.
The Beatles influenced the development of rock music and became one of the most popular music bands of the twentieth century. Despite the fact that the musicians' fame is not so great nowadays, thousands of fans keep listening to their music and organizing concerts. This is really a legendary band that will definitely stay in the history of music forever.
